Man this build is major sick!! I have a few questions. I'm coming over to the crawler side from the speed side. Currently have a dual brushless Emaxx on Ebay for sale. Anyways, how hard is it really to put one of these jokers together. I've had to replace a chassis, and other items on my Emaxx before. Would it be similar? I just don't want to get one and the build be over my head. I have to have this rig too!!! This is my full scale and it needs a little brother! Also, what are some decent budget servos and motors that would work well for a mild crawler?

This kit is very easy to build,if you want to do some crawling run a 55 turn motor, for just running around the yard the stock one will do. The servo should be high torque,I like Hitec, the 645mg works well.

Very nice build up. But I can't believe you changed out the tires. Don't get me wrong, the Mud Slingers are great, but 80 screws!

I picked up a second set of rims (cheap) for the Mud Slingers, this way I can switch wheels depending on where I'm using it.The slingers are for trail rides, and vise crawlers for the rocks.

Looks great with all of the decals on there, like the Mud Slingers too.
Nice work as always

I've ran it stock for a while, now its time to modify. No more cantilevers,12 inch wheel base, and a rubicon body.I'm going for a more scale look. The only parts added were the body, longer upper links on the front, and a stampede drive shaft up front.

this body is just for mock-up,I have a new one in need of paint.

Thats way kool with the wrangler body on it,i was thinking of doing that with my shocks as well,do they touch the frame when articulating through suspension travel.Do the red booties hold the oil thats out of the shocks?

I picked up a good scaler body last week. The wheelbase was too much for the stock chassis,so I made one to fit.
