Well i must say the flat irons performed really well and look very cool, i can't say these are comp tire material, although i am pretty sure that they do perform very well on coarse rock and jagged edges, the lugs act like little fingers grabbing onto the surfaces especially edges of rock that are jagged, i put 4oz of lead weight all around, i might take 2oz of the rear and add those to the front as i felt the on inclines it would pull the truck over, more than before,as i know this a top heavy rig, but other than that i am pleased with flat irons Oh and pics os some carnage, 1 rounded plastic hex and a link end. |

Sounds like they are a good all around tire then, I think that might be my next tire choice.

| I looked at mine the other day actually. Then closed the closet door for another few months. Still have the mint unpainted Tamiya body for it too. |

Fun stuff. I was going through rear drive shafts regularly with the stock motor. I did the taxxass conversion as well and haven't had a problem since. I eliminated all the canti-lever setup and torsion bars. Went with traxxass coil overs and used cut down grey springs. got rid of some of the torque twist and brought back some stability without scarificing wheel travel. I've been happy with it ever since. Truck looks good !!!

Nice Carlos! Looks good, minus the yellow zip ties. Tires look great. I almost yanked mine out of the closet the other day. But I didn't. |
