It's a proline 56 Ford body with the back half moidified and rebuilt with styrene.

Threw on some tailgate chain (still needs paint), decided on my foams, tacked the tires on just in case I need to make some alterations. Added some home grown (Bic Pen) wheel hubs.

I've got all of the old lugs that I had cut out when I reduced the tires. These will get added to throw off the tread pattern if they handle weird.

Going to grab a few strips of hardwood for my bumpers this week.

A few pics for fun.

Testing in the mud in the back yard course...

The tires work great in the mud and on the trails but colapse a bit too much when side hilling.

Picked up some more tires this week, always wanted a set of these to try em out. I mounted the G-Hawgs on the factory CR rims and blacked out the rock rings.

I think they`ll make a good trail tire. May be better with the tread reversed, anyone running them like that? They're no rock crawling tire as I suspected but worked cool today, look good too.

A few hill climbs...

A bit of playing on the rocks, I'll bring extra tires next time.

Looks great man, a little trimming on the Ground Hawgs and they look exactly like TSLs.

Cow Pie gets a facelift and a Bow Tie!

Well after only a few runs I've managed to completely destroy the old Ford body. It put up a great fight but the isane tumble down Bridle Veil Falls pretty much did it in, it's now held together with Tuck Tape and CA.
After a visit to the Hobby Shop the other day another Chevy body caught my eye. I need something that I don't have alot of time invested in body work for every day stuff. I was spraying another body and used my leftovers and mixed this color.

I'm going to break these reduced Rock Crushers in to see if I can get them to hook up any better, they look cool on the rims too.

A few pics with the body and tires mounted.
I'll spend a bit more time trimming and getting the ride height figured out tomorrow night.

Thanks, I'm very happy with the color. This has been a great kit to mess oround with, it's just plain fun. I think some builds are best almost stock, less maintenance, cheap to run and easy to change up looks and handeling with a body and new set of tires.

I just snapped a few photos in the yard before all of the scratches start. I got all of the decals on, and the body mounted properly late last night. The dog and I need to go for a test drive over on the mountain for a while.

Here's some finished shots.
