If you do it by count, the FJ and the Mog are 58405 and 58414, thats 9 kits apart in 7 months, thats a kit and a 1/4 every month..........whats the kit number on the latest release?

It wont be ABS, even though if its going to be a crawler, the industructability of ABS would be perfect! But very unlikly

Hmm, ok true. You got me on that one.

And for the wheelbase. Some might say the wheelbase on the FJ40 also isn't right. But there is the front lined up ok with the fenders, and here nothing is lined up right.

Let's hope it's true but I am afraid someone is playing with us. I really can't imagine that it is standing somewhere on a display while nothing has been said about it yet...

The item number is correct 58429, the display case is in a new Tamiya store that opened recently here in Japan. The release date etc if part of a list of new items coming form Tamiya later this year which will most likely be on display and announced publicly after the coming hobby show ;)

The body is only a re release much like many of the kits Tamiya released this year. Also for those who may remember the Boomerang buggy...if will also be re released this year

Just thinking, I am talking about the wheelbase. And a picture. But that pic isn't posted here, it is this pic:

Looks pretty mock-up to me. I hope if it's gonna be release they will fix that in some way

the first thing i did when i got my cro1 was throw one of my wrangler bodies on it. it fits. it is a little goofy looking but most 1:1 crawlers dont have the axles in line and tamiya hasnt always built everything to scale.

Why would it not be ABS when they tooling the last ran for this body was ABS. I can not see them not using an existing tooling. I say it will be ABS
