| straight axle adapters ?
Not quite sure what these do. It says increase ground clearance, how? Do they widen the wheelbase at all? Straight axle adaptors for CR01 [J43022] : JunFac.com |

Lol - neither of the above, it just replaces the knuckle/C-hub with a straight output. Makes a cleaner, stronger axle overall. Well, I guess it is slimmer than the knuckle, so I guess you could say it increases ground clearance. |

Gotcha, another look after what you said makes sense now. No good for a steering axle.

I bought the 3 racing version of these one piece rear hubs. Does anyone else have them? I was wondering what size bearing they use and whether one is used on the inside and one on the outside? It looks like they fit one bearing on the outside, but none on the inside like the stock hubs. The bearings from the stock hub also seem to large. I wish even simple parts would come with basic instructions are a list of required parts if required. Thanks. |

I just installed these on mine. I know the stock bearings will fit and I think you're correct on only needing 2 rather than 4 bearings.

Are you taking about these (below) - Been a while since I installed them, but I believe they use the stock axles, and same 2 bearings per axle as the stock knuckles. Cannot support the axles themselves on a single bearing, that would lead to a quick failure. Stock bearings went right in as far as I remember. |
