| ![]() Hey everyone. Just read about a new CC01 kit coming out from Tamiya - the FJ Cruiser (kit #5858 ![]() Interesting to note that it is polycarbonate, so it should have good durability. Of course, being a Tamiya body, the detail looks very good. Maybe save some folks trying to track down a New Bright body... ![]() |

I tried to line up my fj body with my cr chassis. Wheelbase is pretty close... Not perfect but much closer compared to the unimog and fj40. But i will have to remove the bumper and make new holes to fit the cr chassis. I'm already thinking about purchasing a new fj body for this... The fjc body is wider than the unimog, it will look better if i set it lower on the chassis but will sacrifice some articulation... Hmmm... Interesting to "convert" the cr to a jacked up cross country rig ![]() |
