Default Beginners TLT-10 w/ stock chassis

Hey whats up guys, while waiting for my bulu to come in I built this truck to kill time, and because I had the parts around for it. Anyways here are the specs and stats: (pics to come once I upload and link them all)

Monster tech CF chassis
stock tranny with 48p spur
custom threaded links
RPM super duty ball cups
bearings in the steering knuckles
Tobee craft wideners
HPI MT2 dog bones
locked diff
locked axles
Associated MGT shocks
Custom body mounts
Rubicon Body
Hpi wheels
Imex Claw dawgs

Electronics:
Novak Rooster
Integy lathe
futaba s3003 steering servo
Traxxas 2 channel AM tx/rx

It crawled really well for a stock chassis tlt. Just wanted to show it, I know there are a lot of people who have bought TLT's from ultimate hobbies and are probably not sure what direction to go with it... Well if you are on a budget this truck works great! I know its not a stock chassis, but its the same shape and layout... If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks!

PS: once I get my bulu I might consider getting rid of this truck, not sure yet but feel free to PM me if you are interested.

Yup it sure does, that is my bros old truck, those axles and electronics all went to his tuber, the only thing I used from it was the chassis and front link.

Is that how you mount the battery? Have you found any better alternatives? I slide mine down at an angle towards the front.

The pic that lunar posted is a pic of when my brother had that truck, it looks similar but its not the same truck, I have a custom saddle pack I use and mount towards the front of the truck

lol u did what was in the june of 2005 ishue of rc car action huh
its the same exact setup... Build the ultimate TLT-1 Rock crawler was the title of the article. lol

You should move all the electronics to the back and put ur battery like i did.

My crawler just 'finished' ...56k nightmare

It really helps crawling!!

Hey one question (for a friend) thoes drive shafts u have do they fit right in the dive cups of do u have to grind them down?

I will admit I took some ideas from there, but I have learned way more from this site than anything. although the pic that lunardaisy posted up was the truck in its original state that was in the process of being built before that article

I know what you mean about the battery, when me and my bro were having competitions with our original trucks, i moved my battery like that and out crawled him everywhere, well until he did the same lol.
