Default Well...

The cats out of the bag now. There a total riot to drive. There much different from any other rig that Pinch and I have built. There using captured springs with no dampening, panrod 3 bar suspension and a ton of other mods that we have gathered from our neighbors across the pod in Germany and CZ.

Much more to come!

Late

Those trials trucks are great. I've been following some of the info on a few german sites and was wondering how long it would take before they started to pop up around here.

Bruder has some wicked scale bodies...........it's just to bad they're so pricey and hard to find outside of Europe.

Nice job PinchFlat!

Watch eBay. There's one eBay store always selling Bruder trucks.

Nice! I looked at the bruder body's, but the cheapest I could find was like $50. I didn't think a body was worth that. Anyway, I am very interesting in seeing your setups.

Actually the COG isn't as bad as you would think. With the motor/trany and the batts on the underside it really isn't bad.

We paid $40ea. I think. That's only less than $10 more than a Pro-Line body. No buying paint either if you don't want to.

Maybe I'll get around to posting some detail pics this weekend, lazy ya know.

The reason for the flat bed is it's more true to the actual trials trucks in Europe (full scale and RC). I dig the Dakar support and racing trucks as well. Easy to make a box for the flat bed though.

I would like to see a build up of these trucks looks like TLT axels, Bruder body and the chassis? I see coil springs and a box in the center? more details would be nice. But they are cool any way.

I'll try and take some detail pictures later tonight. For now here are some basic specs:
-TLT-1 Axels Diffs locked
-YELLOW: HPI Geolander tires, narrowed foams on narrowed pede rims. GREEN: HPI Geolanders cut-n-shut, narrowed & cut down foams on narrowed ugly HPI rims.
-Stampede trany (laid down) w/pede shafts, 87t spur
-55t Lathe Motor YELLOW: 12t pinion, GREEN: 14t pinion
-Hand made aluminum Chassis
-3 bar Panhard style suspension with captured springs
-Shocks... none (for now, or maybe always. Euro style baby.)
-Bruder MAN truck body
-2 wheel steering
-Aluminum Hand made flat bed
-11" +/- wheel base
