Default 2 fresh built tlt rigs

i just finished building and prepping my 2 rigs for a small comp last sunday,
1 is a boyer bronco tuber and the other one is a reign k2 chassis build.

i love both rigs and they handle perfect, but i seem to be losing the comp on steering issues, i got in third last weekend because off the weak angle i am getting with my steering.

i know i need cvd's but they seem to be vanished, i can't find any supplier that has them in stock at the moment so would any off you guys know where to find them, i am based in holland(europe) so that is not making the parts search any easier.

hope anybody here knows where to get them

I think your best bet is RCPCrawlers, but they are out of stock right now. You might want to check the for sale section or keep checking rcp's website until they are in stock again.

I believe that RCP went in with MIP to make the CVD's, so if you're looking for a new set, RCP's website will be your only bet...

I run em, and love em by the way

Keep checking the For Sale section, that's where I found mine... but as you said, they're getting hard to find!

i only got pictures off the rigs in when they where not running
here are some
the last boyer is my axial based one, i know boyer build that chassis for clod axles but it works great with axials.

they're undergone a few changes the k2 is now rolling on beadlocks with badlands because off the lack of rocks in holland.
the shocks on the boyer bronco are now scale spring shocks for additional ride height and more articulation.

the last boyer runs full droop with a novak goat system on 2s

heres a thread on my truck when i first built it. I still have and use the truck in comps, but different changes to it. Pics has CVD's in it but i keep cracking the stub shaft of the CVD's. So i did away of running CVD's and got some TG-10 stub shafts and grind the cup for more steering throw. On my axial I gain only 0.08mm by using CVD's.

Its About Time!!!

Another mod i did.

Inner C-clips

ok thanks bud , i will try that.
so basicly i have to get the tg10 ones and grind off a bit off the rear portion of the cup.
is there a max that i can cut away or is it just trial and error

@jamus iff the snow sets through here i whill make some nice pics this afternoon

trial and error! just make sure that the dog bone DOESN'T come out of the cup. How I do it is, I disconnect the steering link on the knuckle and turn the wheel to full turn (dog bone pins at 3 and 9 o'clock) and slowly rotate the wheel. Look at the dog bone and you can see how much you can cut. A 1/16 may or not be right (i forget). At full turn the dog bone should be even with the cup.

Search for the info...we used to grind these years agao so the actual specs may be out there. I usually just did mine by eyeballing.
