I spent most of last night sketching how to fit the tranny and suspension on the chassis. I've got some good ideas but I'll have to run a special battery. What's everyone running for compact batteries? Sub-C?

2/3A 1400's I love them, I think badger is running them now too.

I have been running 9.6V 2100mAh A2 (AA size) packs. I really love them.

Both my TLT and my clod are VERY happy on 9.6V, good crawability and some punch when you need it.

I have not run my TLT enough to be sure but my 2.2 clod would run about 20-30 minutes on a 1700mAh 9.6v A2 pack. That was with a HS5645MG digital servo too. Not bad I think. I expect the TLT would be even better with one motor and less weight.

I just picked up the 2100mAh's so I have not cycled them through yet.

I had totally forgot about this thread and found it so I thought I'd post up what the end results was and a link to the build thread. Oh and Colquitt I almost made it with 10 feet. I think I used
11 feet. not bad.
