Hello Carlos,

Glad to see that you received everything okay. You'll be going down unchartered territory as all the other builds have been 12.5" and your is going to be 14". I look forward to seeing just how it works out. Just a thought, your shocks are not going to reach your axles so you're probably going to have to attach them to your links. Maybe something like this would work. Anyway, can't wait for you to start the build.

If you attach them to the links you may have alot of torque twist. So I have heard.

Make some upper shock mounts that relocate the shocks or try longer shocks.

Carlos,

Your easiest solution for mounting shocks may well be to just get yourself 4 Savage shocks. They should be just about the right length to work with your setup and attach to the axles.

Carlos,

Prototype or not there is no excuse for parts to be miss-drilled like that and I appologize for that happening. Right up front I want you and everyone to know that we do stand behind our product. If you would like a new set of upper link mount plates we will gladly send you a pair on us. As far as your 60/40, 14" setup I can make you a set of custom, rear shock mounts if you would like.

Sincerely,
David

got more or less final stance look , i'am impressed how much longer and sleeker it looks compared to my penguin chassis, it's stands at 13.5" right now ,the center clearance is amazing , i need ideas for shock mounts , i have insatlled in front 3 1/2 losis, but can go to 4" at the back i either need over 5 1/2" shocks, i think i bought a set that are at a little over 6" hope this fit, but i would really like ideas for shock mounting also maybe adpaters for people who migt choose this setup but would prefer 4" schocks all around

There is a way to shorten shocks if you need too. If it comes to that PM me and I tell you how it's real easy. And it can be reversed. Looks good so Far. What kind of body are you going to run?

not sure yet i have several 1/10 bodies including the blackfoot, which now with a 14" wb the 1/10 bodies are to small , but the clear ones are hpi 1/8 one is bronco the other is rubicon also the 1/8 truck is always good for bashing

Thats cool. I'm running 1/10th HPI Jeep body on mine. I don't like the over hang. But 1/8 with that wheelbase will look more scale.
