Default Completed build and some tests

Just completed most of the build. The chassis and electronics are put in. The preliminary testing is good.

Here's a pic of the first test run:

Should get those lower links above the steering knuckle. You will find that as you use your truck in its current configuration, your links will be all banged up. Moving them up will give you a better approach angle and help keep you steering propely.

right-click on the image placeholder, select properties, highlight the link and paste it into your browser address bar. It will load that way.

Where is that location to crawl? Can I come play?

Default My truck looks good but...

Yeah, uhm...the transmission belt started slipping then it got bad. Now it don't climb downhill. User name did not lock his center diff yet, so his slips only a little. We are going to have to modify or customize this TLT tranny. We also have some glitches in the electronics. The trucks jump around some.

I am going to have a beer and forget all about it...ok..so I can't stop thinking about it. I guess I better get out the tools.

Default Crawl location

Yeah! We just found this spot. I saw some rocks from the road. It is just on the north side of Auburn Outboard Marine along the frontage road. The Penryn exit off I-80 is the nearest exit, then head to the gas station on the south-west side and follow the frontage road toward the boat shop. A little before the boat place is a construction site with a lot of rocks in the back area. Park somewhere and walk in. They wont want us there during the week or in the daytime I'm sure.

Have fun!

The steps I outlined to look at the images work with IE. That is the ghetto browser I am using... I am sure Firefox probably doesn't have that issue.

If you need a spare belt or center diff (that I locked with the traxxas slipper pegs, it will still slip if the wheels totally lock) that I am not using. Let me know.
