Well, I have had a good time with this little budget/spare parts build.

Here are some pics from the last year:

However, I decided on a few upgrades. The list:

New set of Red Rocks
Junfac Beadlocks
Kreepy Squishy Red Foams
Custom High Clearance Aluminum Links
Bearings in the FR Cs for smooth steering
New steering links w/Jato rod ends
RC4WD rear lockouts and straight axles
Clocked rear axle
Stuffed more spiders into the diffs for less play
Metal yokes all around

On to the pics:

(Dont mind the giant cat in the last picture, he just wanted to chew on the antenna)

I will have some action shots this weekend.

Interested to hear if the Kreepy's improve the redrocks performance. Truck looks stout with those tires on there

Looks mean. That front driveshaft has a bit of an angle to it. Also how are the beadlocks working for you?

Not sure how the beadlocks will hold, they have only been tested on the carpet. They are a little weird to setup and kind of difficult to get the bead placed properly.

Yeah, the front DS is at a bit of an angle, but there is not really much I can do about that (until someone comes out with clocked Cs).

I think the foams work really well in the RRs...they form around objects quite well and rebound nicely.

Are you referring to the yellow rims?

If so, those arent beadlocks. I bought those tires and rims used and those bead rings were hot glued to the rims. They kept falling off the more I wheeled the truck.

Remember, the original build was on the cheap!
