Default Latest Crawler

This one is nothing special. My wife told me to do something with all of the crap in the garage, so I built another crawler. This is a spare parts/homebrew build. Specs:
Cut stock chassis
Cutting board skid
Pede tranny (87T spur and 12T pinion)
Front 4 link with custom delrin links
Rear 3 link with Maxx arm upper and lower delrin links
Remote res shocks
55T lathe

On to the pics:

I am still trying to figure out how to stuff the GD600 in there.

Thanks! I think the body turned out well. The paint looks a bit transparent in the pics, but it doesnt appear that way normally.

Probably could have used another coat or two. With candy or pearlescent paint, it helps to put a final coat of white or silver if you want to brighten it up or a coat of black to darken it. Either way it helps keep light from shining through...

Is that a Proline body? How come you're gonna use a GD-600? The tranny by itself should give you enough reduction...

Yeah, that was 3 coats...and I was tired of painting it. I saved the window masks, so I guess I could add a few more coats if it really bothered me...

I figured I'd try the GD600 for the hell of it.

(Ace made it up this right after the pic)

My new truck suffered a bit of breakage (shock, rod end) and Ace blew out a few body posts.

Fun times!

Thanks! The tires are working great! Nice and sticky. I might need to pull them from the rims to add some tape weights...endos were too frequent this morning.

Cool! Yeah, the TLT chassis isnt a bad starting point, it just needs a little cutting and longer links.
