Looks like it turned out pretty good for your first try at a tuber.

The easiest antenae mount is to braze/weld a piece of tube wherever you want the mount and pinch the bottom in a bit. Then stick your wire through and slide the tube over it. Be careful not to mount the wire where it may get hit by rocks because they can pretty easily sheer the wire and render your reciever useless.

OR, you could just tape it on... Good looking rig, first time or tenth time it looks pretty well thought out. Do I see another frame in the background?

thanks for the compliments guys.
and also for the antena idea.

that tuber in the background is my roommate's. He's finishing up his brazing work and is lookin for a pede tranny .

Went out with a couple guys in San Diego today, i don't think i got any pics of my rig because we were having too much fun.

I need to work on getting my pinion gear and spur gear to mesh correctly and invest in some thread lock.

Also, I have the battery mounted on the rear axle. Why? It was working better that way, I think i might just need to switch some things up with my front shocks.

Now that i got it running, now the real learning begins. This thing is a blast.

i've negleted my thread. here's some treats

that last one is the money shot, i could have crawled for 60 seconds, and only popped that one picture and it would have been worth it. That rig in the background is my roommate's, who was inspired to crawl after seeing my old tlt 2 months ago.

that's the absolute truth. After taking the initial time to build it and to finally getting it running makes it extremely rewarding. Once that wears off i can start thinking about upgrades
