I seem to break rears just as much as fronts so if they are alot stronger I would run them. Maybe make the solid rears like TTR has for the clod

I just snapped a rear inner Sunday right before the bonus gate on the last course. I needed that gate to win the class. So, yes I would definately run them in the rear too.

They will strengthen your rear housing as much as they do the front. Yes.

yeah, a straight axle would be nice for the rear, as well as an easy steer lock out. thanks yall, i wasnt sure, even though it has the knuckles, but not steering thought it might not get as much stress.

Just so you know, we have been in line for this project for almost 6 months now. The reason for this is, they are being made by the absolute finest in the CVD business.

These are not going to widen the axle in any way will they? Also will they have extra threads like the tg10 shafts?

I am meeting with them today to discuss stub axle options. Untimately we want to offer them as stock width and also a couple of steps wider through the use of different hexes. We are taking a few types of wheels with us to be sure we have most of the popular wheels covered.

What width besides stock would you guys like to see?

I like mine 10 1/4" - 10 1/2" outside of wheel to outside of wheel.

I think if they were as wide as the Blackfoots (TG10?), that would work out great, maybe include a 1/4" spacer?
Anyway, hurry up MIP!
Later Brian,
John

Not any wider at all. Maybe more threads, just like TG10 axles add. Otherwise, no more than stock! Wider is lame!

Its not that wider is lame, depends on how wide, I have Blackfoot stubs and it added 3/4" over all witch I think is perfect. It also depends on the course. With the stock width, it limits rims and for some people, this can be a problem.

Just got back from MIP.

We are going to do stock width for the the cvd package. The stub shaft is going to be longer to accept wideners that will be offered seperately.

There will be a spacer on the outside of the wheel to compensate for when no widener is used. So the stub axle will stick out when at stock width.
It might even look somewhat like a locking hub once the spacer is on.

While some think wider is lame, there are others out there that disagree. We hope to make everybody happy with these axles.

Perfect choice. This way you won't be limiting your sales to only those who want the lameness of widerness.

When they come out, I think you'll do just that.

Remember, I'm first on the list, right.
