yeah i have seen that done before on a lot of trucks... bob (rocjoc) did his sons trucks similiar to that.

well guys just one problem with this truck... i have too much flex, i cant find a body i can hack that much and still like the way it looks.

sounds like ur gonna have to limit the flex a little bit.

That 3 link must alow a ton of articulation. With the 4-link and the t-maxx shocks I didn't need to limit the 2.2, but I limited my J2-TT Super shocks with some fuel tube on the shock shafts... easy job.

i've even got buggy shocks on the front.... the rear flexes alot. plus i like to run my body really low. i think i can trim a body to work, i just like my fenders.

Looks good .Mine has to much flex with 4 1/2 shocks.I'm going to limit them for mj.Whats your ground clearance under frame.I think mines like 3. 1/2 .Yours looks longer then my 12.5?

dang that is fugly. the body any ways. and too me that thing looked uber long. but i guess not. did you end up just welding metal yokes to the ae trannys outputs? or did you do something else? i didnt see so i had to ask. im going to use a t3 trans for mine. and thinkin of ways i can do it. looks good, keep it up.

we welded rod into the yokes... that way i can pull the traxxas yoke off like normal and still disassemble the case.

sick. bout what size rod works best? im sure i can find something in shop. 2 periods of rop welding at school. I SAY KICK A55. thanks, but if u could give me some deminsions it'd help.

i really dont remember... i know i just ground little flat spots on the rod for the set screws from the traxxas yokes... you actually have to try to hold the rod centered in the yokes while you weld it, cause you are gonna have to fill the gap with weld.
