I would like to see how the dig setup looks under articulation, any chance at all of a vid? I get the brake setup and it looks great, I just am curious about the linkage and everything through the cycle.

I guess with the servo on the axle there would be very little difference in movement between it and the dig coupler. Just have to think about it a little. Does it move at all on the shaft when you cycle the susp?

That is actually what is great about it on the rear axle, stays put very well in all applications. If you look close, I have some aluminum rod to limit the articulation on the rear shocks, if it flexes too far, the dig does not always brake, only disengages.

non video yet, will have to get some.

Thanks for the clarification on the artic limiters. That makes sense on why it might not brake real well under extreme articulation. I guess 90% of the time though you are using the dig you arn't really going to be that type of position.

Nope.

Honestly, I'm not sure it's worth it. But, I will try it at some point.

That sums up my feelings on the dig situation completely. I can see some merit to it, but I wonder if adding additional complexity is worth it.

I say go with the cvd's and no dig, there has been very few situations were I though it would be nice. Personaly I think it's a lot of work and extra things to break that doesn't have a real big advantage. I do like how yours is setup though moger, that's definetly the way I would do it if I ever change my mind.

I have dig on my latest rig I am testing, and the only time I see a real benefit for me is going downhill or dropping off of obstacles under control. I haven't seen where dig made THE difference in a comp yet. It is nice to have, but good driving can usually make up for it, IMO.

The jeep is looking good Moger.

I actually use the dig on uphill steep climbs alot, think about it, you get to the top of a hill and are trying to crest the top, your front tires spin and cannot gain traction, you hit the dig and the throttle, suck the car down and it climbs right over the top yeah, it does work that good.
