I like it it looks like mine except the front is a little diffrent. Looks like you can get a batt. up their now. I have the prototype of the gimbal 2 ( The Fat china man)is what we have named the gimbal 2 due to its fatness. This chassis crawls well and is set up well Gimbal really makes nice tubers. can't wait to see yours all done with the paint and pannels. I just left mine raw it shows the scratches but it never changes color when you scratch it. You can see mine in the vegas comp pics. its the carbon pannel one; if intested

Very nice, I really like the rear lockout

If she adds up to the sum of her parts she should equal the best 2.2's out there!

Got the new erickson 2.2 beadlocks powdercoated and stainless hardware mounted. Also got the panels painted. Black with a tiny bit or silver metal flake. Pics will be up soon. Now I need to PC the frame, links and mounts and it will be ready to rock!

We had a shop day while the wives were watching movies, Ben got his Tuber up and running, with time enough to so some light playing before he tears it down and does his final touches

Well I have been meaning to get final pics up, here they are. Chassis is pc'd along with link mounts, shock mounts, skid plate and brackets. I put a lexan skid plate material over the pc'd skid. I learned about this stuff from badger, works great, makes your skid just like delrin. Got my erickson 2.2 beadlocks mounted and rings pc'd also, put the stainless hardware on also. Made the last piece for the truck with slobin3d, a custom lexan battery tray, that snaps onto the front upper links, very simple, yet very effective. Also added our new club logo on top, courtesy of MrBigStuff. This is by far the best tuber I have ever owned, Gimbal's work is unmatched, I will use and abuse it regularly.

look mom, no lock out arms?????

will climb straight up the side of a 2 ft log, our inside shop tester
