Smile i am starting my new tlt

this is the wheel and tire i am going to run on my tlt


this is the chassis i am going to build for my first tlt crawler



this is what i got so far its somewhat put together

sorry the pics are so big

i just got a lil more work done on it,

mounted the tranny and my electronics plates, and the shocks.

its turning out to be a nice rig.

good start. i would change out the springs. i run losi whites on front and yellows on back. but thats my 2 pennies.

Those chassis' were actually made some time ago. I think there was only like 9 of them made or something like that. Very rare, and very nice.

I thought I remember seeing something on another rc site where there was a guy that did all his chassis similar, but they were mostly maxx type trucks... I will need to search for it

I would just be happy with a nice scale chassis.. but I am poor lol

i bought the chassis from a friend for 50 bucks, then i found out i could got it for 45 but hey 5 bucks is 5 bucks.. right now i am in the process of extending my drive lines so they will fit in the chassis. i bought my rooster speed control and a decent servo. more pics coming soon

i got more pics of my progress on my first build.
i went with a 72 chevy body that will always be my fav out of the chevy's i wish they made a 72 chevy burban... but this is close enough.

The chassis is not my favorite but im loving the rig so far. Its very clean in the sense that no parts are crude, crooked or made cheaply. im guessing that you are masking a strip of white that will go around the body?

Looks good I like how you can still see the flames of the chassis. You just need to get your new tires on and get it on the rocks.

Looks very nice i love the body and the way you can see the flames thru it It has come along ways from last time i seen it keep up the good work.....we will have to get together and go get some rock rash on it
