Default More Pics

Thanks for the comments guys, here are some more pics:

Oh ya forgot to mention that I am running a 12t pinion and also just swapped two of the springs to 1.8lbs for combating torque flex.

Default More specs

-Adjustable wheel base 12.25 - 12.75"
-Track width 10.25"
-Adjustable ground clearance 3 - 3.25"
-Adjustable pinion angle (changes w/ wheel base)

Just got a blue Aluminum Hi tec steering horn from my hobby shop today. Was also thinking about getting a buggy or s truck body for more fender clearance.

I designed the chasis in AutoCAD Inventor and have full measured drawings of the chassis and link plates, etc. PM me if you are interested.

What I did is took my dremel, and notched out the otherside to make it have a notch for the screw to screw into and stay in place

Then take a chunk of heat shrink to cover the yolk screws so they stay in place :P

Just a idea?? lol

You have to grind off the protruding protion of the traxxas metal yoke. That way you have enough shaft in the yoke to tighten the set screw. I think it is made of stainless so a bench grind and some nice pliers help.

Heat shrink is for wires, lock-tite is for threads!

The ultimate fix is to drill a hole through the pinion shaft and use the long set screws (the ones for the pede tranny output shafts)
