awesome again, but i just had an idea do you think you can make the skidplate the same color as the rest of the green stuff?

that would probally be the only suggestion for this rig, i love the narrowed mashers they really tie the truck together

Yeah, I thought about painting or dying the skid plate, but you cant dye delrin and paint I think would limit the sliding effect that delrin has, so I must live with it, for now, no big deal, its not as bad in person, you hardly notice it!
Thanks for all the compliment guys

I use RIT liquid dye in a big pot on a burner until boiling.
I do this outside on a propane burner as to not give my wife a reason to murder me.

Basically water and rit dye 1 to 1 mix... enough to cover your parts when submerged.
Bring it to a boil, then turn the temp down ever so slightly to keep it at a light boil.
Dip your parts for a few minutes, take it out and look at it.
When it gets to slightly darker than you want to see... dip it in a bucket of cold water to rinse and cool.

I have done it a bunch for delrin paintball marker parts, always works well, but again... don't do it inside!

Hope that helps... oh and I think that is one of the cleanest tuber builds I have seen! Great Job!

Thanks Unholy!
I hear you on doing it outside, with the money I spend on my "toys", I'm not pissing momma off
I've dyed plastics in the past, sounds like the same procedure.
I will give it a try tonight, I have to take it apart anyway to do a few more things before I deem her DONE!

Nice tuber! very clean work and good job on the dig parts

looking at the dig linkage i noticed that you need something to keep it from twisting when dig is on, the ends wont last long before it will twist apart

When testing it, at first I discoved this issue as well, I then limited the twist in the linkage by limiting the ball movment in the rod end, also in the design of the linkage, its made to twist enough not to break it self, if it was totally solid, with no play at all, it would break, you have to have a little play in the system.
I've ran 3-4 battery packs so far to test the dig, off/on/off/on and so forth, It has been solid so far, I tried to break/twist it apart and I cannot, maybe over time, but I think it should hold up for a while, we'll see what happens!

**I also added green inner Axial 2.2 BL rings for more, well, BLING of course!

Heres a few pics of the dig linkage i was talking about

with the linkage like this the twisting of the driveline pulls down on the rod end, no twisting of the linkage

top view hope this helps.
