| Johnson420's 2.2 Hustler This is my new 2.2 Comp Rig Build. I was LUCKY enough to get my hands on a 2.2 Hustler Chassis BIG THANKS to the guys at RCPCrawlers.com Brain, John, Noel. I couldn't have built this without you guys Specs: Chassis: Team Carnage Crew 2.2 Hustler Chassis from RCP Axles: Tamiya TLT Axles with Bearing and JB welded diff Axles: TLT CVD's by MIP from RCP Shocks: Hot Bodies Threaded Aluminum Shocks with internal springs Tranny: RC4WD Black R2 Tranny 12t pinion Wheels: Axial Racing Rockster Beadlock Rims Tires: Proline 2.2 Moab Tires ESC: Mamba 25 ESC Motor: OG Holmes Hobbies Brushless Revolver Radio: Traxxas TQ3 Radio TowerPro MG995 Steering Servo Traxxas Links: Front Top # 5539 Front Bottom # 2338 Rear Top # 2338 Rear Bottom # 2339 These picture were all taken after mockup. more to come soon ............Paint on Panels and Rear Dig........... |

what springs are u running on the inside of those shocks?

Nice start but a few things to look at is the shock mounts are to high the links should be flat and the chassis should be sitting on the servo in the front and the upper links in the rear. The oil in the shocks might be a bit thick I use 10wt in the front and 20wt in the rear. Hope that helps, you will like this Chassis it climbs like no other |

You done good, looks great, you can set it up however you want it. one setup won't work for everyone, (different rock) try it just like you got it now and see how it does, it may work just fine.Good Luck Chimney |
