It has a lady Driver and her handle here is Jade. Thus the name....

It does look large on it's own but once it is all built, it doesn't seem like a huge chassis. It kind of reminds me of the SW2 chassis in it's size.

Thanks Paul. I look forward to getting the rest of the parts for this rig, to make it CO comp worthy. I really think it will be a contender.

Looks alot better than the torsion POS she was driving befor! I had to laugh when we went to Horsetooth and she drove that for the first time and she says " This thing has no articulation!!" 5 minutes later she was driving your rig.

Yeah, I got no drive time that day. Now her responce to driving the new rig was...

"why does yours droop more then mine?'
"I need more articulation"
"the turning radius of this sucks!"
"Why does yours crawl better?"

So in short, she wants the CVD's, the same shocks and springs, Strait axle in the rear, the wideners, and she hates M2K's... She will only use Moabs now... (until I get a set of Losi's... No 2 sets so she has her own set.)

She was all about not spending the money until she used it and now wants it to be set-up like mine. She also wants a different radio as she doesn't like the feel of the one she has.

! Priceless, now you can buy goodies and when she starts nagging you about spending money you can pull out the other one you got for her!;) Can you say ADDICTED.

It works for me too. Kristy and I are really competitive people not just in general, but against each other. So now she has to have all the goodies. I need to convince her to buy them with her "allowance" and not mine now. That way I have more money for better parts for my comp crawler and I can start to build the scaler I have wanted to start working on.

Default New Updates

Well after driving this thing around a bit, I desided that it seemed to get hung up on to many things with it's belly. In my opinion, having the lower links mounted above the chassis skid, was causing the skid to hang too low in relation to the lower links. So I drilled some new holes in the chassis. Also, I have always thought the shocks should be able to be laid out a little more. So I again, drilled some new holes. I also went from the droop set up to the normal spring set up. The U.S. Gov click pen internal springs just didn't hold up. Below is a picture of where I drilled the holes. I have gained a little more articulation by doing this.

And the CVD's and wideners are on the way.
