Well I started painting one of my CJ bodies to go on MRV. I was going back and forth with different colors when it dawned on me to compremise. So I'm doing a two color simple paint scheme. I did some cool modifying to the wheels. I cut off the factory outer bead surface then sanded down the surface to give a decent gluing point. I then attached the new OD green rock rings. The benefit to cutting off the outer bead is that the rock rings now take place of that bead so the tire sits tight up against the rock ring. It looks a lot more realistic than before. Check it out. close of before closse of the new rings and new method |

I agree. Though I can think the old ones would look a lot better with my new way of cutting the rim. This way they sit tight against the tire. I plan on taking the old ones and putting them on my Wild Willy 2 in the same way. I 'm almost done with the new body I'll post pics when it's done and I can get on the rocks.

Ok I post pics of the new body somewhere but can't find them now so here's some fun I had tonight on a make shift crawling course. I did some small vids but can't seem to host them anywhere. Anyway here's the pics of the new body (some of you have already seen it) and the make shift course |

ya there are for looks but they cover the cut wheel too. So they are not functional beadlocks but they are functional.

Well I took M.R.V. out to the mini hammers to test the new Moabs. UNfortunately I forgot my camera. So here are some gay poser shots. I'm running narrowed star cut foams soon to be narrowed racing star cut foams or no foams at all. |
