yah , it was my dumbass take on what was to be a torsion chassis utilizing the stock chassis. It didnt work out and it had a striking resemblence to a swingset or maybe an old school tool tray............needless to say it didnt stay that way for too long.

ryde & sheldon tried to talk me out of it many times(they suggested the 1x1 angle about 4 times) but i had to learn the hard way, it drove really good but the body swung around like a swingset and the backbone bent, but the welds were strong and the theory was good. The backbone couldn't stand up to my abuse.RYDE ENGINEERING at it's finest! idea to done in about 3 hours.thanks ryde...........now lets bust this one up!!!!

started rebuild, ran into a wall........... knuckles are perfect, CVDs however dont fit for sh it. it seems the output shaft from the cvd is too long, the part that sits in the inner race is set out to far. is this normal?has anyone had this problem? i have no experience with cvds for clods, and i was told that these fit with no modification. ill probably just turn 'em down. Also, that drag link hits the pumpkin when it turns all the way, i was thinking a bent link would work okay. anyone who wants to share info is welcome. Also dont tell me to search, this is my thread, i posted TECH info and asked a couple questions, so if you got any smartass remarks. keep 'em outta here.....thanks
