I took the LR3 up to the Scale Trail Runners GTG in Tennessee and did some pretty good damage to the body. We did some pretty good running and ended up on a hill climp. I made it up to the top a couple times and rolled back to the bottom a couple of times with no damage. On the last run and roll I must have hit something just right because the body shattered where the body post was mounted in the rear.

I have already started repairs. I have glued in a big piece of the body and braced it with styrene. There is one piece that I could not get to fit back in so I need to figure out a way to cover that hole. Then, I am going to brace it all good with some styrene and Shoe Goo. After that, I'll mount a spare over the damage and you want see it and the rig will be good as new.

I put the pieces back together as best as I could and braced everything up with Shoe Goo and Styrene. There was still a small hole I covered it with tape and painted it to match.

Considering the big hole that was there before I think it looked pretty good but I went ahead and but a spare on to cover it anyway.

Looks good as new now.
While I had the body off I put the led's in. They have a Tamiya connector on them so they plug into the switch and battery on the chassis. That way the body is removable for when it needs worked on.

The body isn't really raised that much. I did some mods to extend the chassis down, basically like doing a suspension lift. It was easy and I just used some spacers from the junk box. If you look back through the thread it shows how I did it.

By the way its for sale in the for sale section. You make have to look through a couple pages or search but I will cut you a good deal if you want it!

The whole rig is for sale. I don't wanna post too many details here and break any forum rules. I was just letting traxxas4fun know that if he wanted it, it was for sale and he wouldn't have to figure out the suspension lift.

If anyone wants more info pm me.
