Default cc-01 pinion?

can i use a 12 or 14 tooth pinion as long as it is 48 pitch meteric? want to slow the thing down and give it more torque.

If you are using the stock motor plate you can only use the two pinion sizes listed in the kit (16t and 20t). The motor mounting holes in the plate only will allow those two sizes for the proper gear mesh.

mabye someone needs to make a motor plate with adjustable mounting holes for the cc-01. thanks for the reply.

Buy motor 55T to 70T - speed and torque will be OK

You can also install a gear reduction unit (HPI, RC4WD, ETC..) to slow it down and give it some major torque.

I made an offset motor plate and run an 11t berg pinnion on mine, I like it

The aluminum ring is is the motor mount, the stock plastic motor plate bolts to it

I think you could also use adjustable motor mounts for a clodbuster I just didnt have anything laying around so i just made smething up
