Got some updates. I was prioritizing my scx10 build but after getting the tires in the mail, I was more interested in the cc01 buildup. Got a 2075 servo for it along with the 1.9's. I have shocks coming in the mail, as well as some other parts

For now, I will keep the Isuzu rodeo body! Feedback on how it looks with the new tires?

hopefully the shocks that I ordered allow for this same ride height

I'm looking to trade it for a pajero, so if anyone wants it, trade for a pajero would be nice

That body is cooler than a Pajero in my opinion.

X2 and a hell of a lot more rare, could get some good money for it.

I like this truck and CC-01's as well, they don't look all that impressive but they surprise the hell out of you.

Did some work on the rodeo body, first time working with fiberglass filler, did a decent job I think lol Decided to go with the metallic navy blue and black grille. Painted my light bar as well. Need some honest opinions on the ride height. Critics welcome! No shocks yet, so dont mind the crayon box in the front lol

that gap between the body and chassis looks like a good place for a winch

I bedlined the rocker panels on the rodeo body. Shocks and hubs finally came in. Locking the rear diff is jus some jb weld away right? Anyway, here are the pics. I have a xl-5 esc and 27t motor waiting to be installed. Decided to us an axial remote anr reciever because I got two for $32 shipped on ebay. Now I can somewhat work on my scx buildup

List of upgrades:
XL-5 esc with motor $40
Traxxas 2075 servo $19
Hubs and shocks $37
Wheels and tires $22
total: $118

I cant believe that it started out looking like this. Hated the lowered look lol

Did some work on the cc01 this past week.

So far:
2075 waterproof servo
Tazer15t speed control
Orion Core Stock 27t motor
Axial remote and receiver
GPM hubs
Aluminum threaded shocks
Locked front and rear diffs

Next:
Whats a good ball bearing kit? What CVD's is everyone using when they need extended length due to occasional 3 wheel drive

thought about ordering these up

If you find out that you want to crawl it more than trail run... consider sticking a gear reduction unit in it. I just took mine out for its first run with a 2.5 reduction today and it had gobs of torque. It got passed by a turtle, but it pulled hills good

I was actually considering that lol I need more torque so I'll probably go with the 2:1 reduction. What GRU are you using?

I also noticed you are still using the plastic bushes in the rear diff and I would changes all the bushes to ball bearings as it is a lot smoother. I might get a gear reduction at a later stage as well but I find the 60 turn motor I have in there has some OK torque and a little extra top speed as well.

Did some work last night. Not your typical 4 link. Its made of tamiya cr01 short links, traxxas rod ends and some servo/shock mounts, not tested yet

Did some more work. Cleaned and mounted up the fj cruiser body and added the fake spare tire from the rodeo body, perfect IMO. New bright FJ fit the cc01 chassis almost perfectly. I need a snorkel for it now!

marked it up and drilled the holes

Hey guys, I am selling a rare isuzu rodeo body by tamiya. Hate to sell this body since I had it for almost 12 years. Only flaw is that the front body mount needs to be filled with styrene or some epoxy. I used it for a while but decided to not use it because I came across a FJ cruiser new bright body Onto the price. I saw some kits for $600 on ebay so I was thinking $175+shipping for the body(or best offer). Body comes with the windows, bumpers and faux spare tire. Paypal is preffered. Send me offers. I will ship within 24 hours. Extremely rare and hard to find! PM is fastest way to contact me or email me at shoehead24@yahoo.com
