Default IFS Suspension Question

To get better clearance could I just get the GPM IFS parts instead of modifying the plastic hub carrier and lower control arm?

Clearance for what? If you're looking to gain more ground clearance then only going to a larger tire is going to do that.

Sorry I mean for the front suspension mod for more travel and to possibly raise the front a little. I just picked up my CC-01 from a member on the forum and I would like to get more travel out of the front end. I hope I explained it right.

The only way to really add any noticeable wheel travel would be to have wider/longer custom lower A-arms. The short stubby A-arms are very limiting. Best advise is to build it so it moves freely and there's no binding. Adjust it so it works with the weight of the rig.

I started to build longer lower A-arms but stopped once I sold the CC-01 back to my friend.

Here's how mine looked before shortening up the longer lower A-arms.....

Something you can do. Doesn't add much though.
