If youre gonna sell it you should see if your local dealership wants to buy it!
That would be cool, maybe I'll bring it next time I go for service.

Thanks fellow Tundra owner. I stacked styrene and carved them out with a Dremel.

I can't think of how to describe it..

I hope you enjoy driving it as much as I've enjoyed watching the video and looking at the pics. It's awesome.

Thanks! It's not enjoyable to drive. It's nearly impossible to drive it in a straight line. Gotta love CC01s!

This is only the second time I drove the truck and the first time without a trailer.

Thanks. Not only was it the same color shirt, it was the same graphic on the shirt. I'm that dedicated to scale realism.

It looks absolutely fantastic! I can honestly say that it's the best looking Tamiya Tundra that I've even seen.

Beautiful! Im really enjoying this build. Arent those wheels from RC4WD? I agree, it would be really nice if they were 5 lug. I picked up a dark red 2010 Tundra Double Cab about a month ago and I am loving it. Maybe its time to start a new build.

Thank you. I suppose it could get more realistic. The trailer tires are about 70mm

Me neither, I tried climbing into the RC one to go to the store and I wouldn't fit.

Thanks. The wheels are RC4WD, Ground Cruisers or something. I'm on the lookout for 5 lug 1.55's that will work for this. When my real Tundra needs tires I'd like to get new wheels as well. Maybe there will be RC versions of whatever wheel I get.

How is the rear leaf setup working for you? Is it stiffer than say on on SCX or something like that, or is it around the same?

Much stiffer than an SCX or CC01. The leaf springs are from a high lift so they are pretty firm.

i'm doing a similar project but with a f350 body im gettin from Dave of DH fab.
my questions are:
were the stock a-arms, and axle WIDE enough for the tundra body?
what leaf springs did you run to have stiff enough suspension for the trailer weight?
and how is your extended driveshaft holding up?

They were about perfect width. Perhaps even too wide. I'm running stock Tamiya high lift springs. Extended driveshaft is holding up just fine.
