Re: Power To The Portal (Makeover)

Was able to get the front body mount about 95% done today. Found some small metal post that fit perfectly in the stock body mount holes. Then started on a aluminum plate that I bent up and welded some tabs to help secure the front together and stay strong during roll overs. There is a backing plate that will get glued to the body on the interior side and will also add more strength to the front main section. So worried that in a hard roll over the 3d printed body might crack. Hopefully I can knock out the rear body mount tomorrow and start on trimming and fitting the body.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...31146c477f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d0f2876f8d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...da5c92f693.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...749b753c2d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9b767ca849.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8e658b2514.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ab45b4c6df.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8f105f31c1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1c7e1197bf.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2937f4d38f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...53a735e2ed.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5c6378c9df.jpg

The only issue I see with your rear upper shock mount is that it makes the fronts look plain.

Keep up the good work. One if my first 4x4's was an 87 Pathfinder and I still miss it. I've always wanted a 2 door lexan body of one. Yours is as close as I've ever seen.

Looks close to driveable in the last pic. Cant wait for trail pics.

Still cant get over your custom front lower arms. Most people dont understand how hard it is to make something that small and precise, then you gotta perfectly mirror it. Good work you've done there.
