Excellent work mate, that's the first time i've seen a winch setup like that. I've seen servo winches before, especially in the CC01s, but never as simple as your design. Now I definitely want to make one of those up!

Thanks. I know people mount them in the back with guide tubes for the line all the time. My idea here was to keep the weight up front and I figured it would be a little more efficient for the winch to only have ~1" from the spool to the fairlead. I am going to do some research on a different spool. This bobbin spool works fine, but I figure I can drop the servo lower with a machined spool. |

Got some Baja MTZs mounted up on my black set of wheels. Will get to test them out tomorrow. While I was at it I brushed the anodizing off of the outer beadlock ring. |

I'm glad to see her getting some use. She was way too pretty for me to have sitting on my shelf, but I just couldn't stand to see her get scratched and bruised. Seeing the pictures of it out driving makes me smile, though! |

Now that's an action pic, nothing beats water for the fun/challenge element.

Indeed. I had a blast the other day in water of various depths and movement speed.....thought it might wash away at one point!

Well the Bronco is currently sitting stripped to the tub. Sunday's mud & water fun is requiring some serious cleanup! Is this an acceptable amount of dirt in the motor? Looks like I was a little rougher on it than I originally thought: This is when I decided to completely strip it for a cleaning: Motor is already rebuilt andI have a new set of bearings in the mail as I found a few completely seized up. I also ordered a set of aluminum hexes as these are rounding off & I ordered the GPM rear shock mounts so that I can make my own links and try to tighten up the rear end some. Wow, I think I should pull mine apart now. It's been in some pretty deep stuff. I'll bet my motor is just cruddy.
