shimmed the stock steering

after a failed attempt to mod the GPM steering kit, i threw it away yesterday.

i did find that the thin tabs the batteries plus has for building packs makes a perfect shim for the stock down tube. i didnt take any pics, but the battery tab wraps around the down tube and with a little wiggling it will fit in the hole in the chassis.

i still got some play in the stock ball ends, but its only about half of what it had stock

sorry, got busy, new project showed up today

havent tore it apart yet, but its pretty easy, the tabs from batteries plus are .13mm thick, wrap a couple around the tube that goes through the chassis, and stick it all in the hole.
gonna take some work to get em in, but not to bad to do

im looking around for something i can make work, mine doesn't have a whole ton of slop right now (not sure why) but after time im sure it will.
