| Problems!!
I just finished putting my LCC together. I am running a novak goat 3s 21.5 with the fan, powered by the losi 3s 1350 mah battery. My run times just plane suck. 5 minutes into the run and the esc starts glitching as well as the dig servo. Does any one have any recommendations for a higher amp battery that will fit the stock tray.

I asked my lhs owner and he said I shouldn't need the bec but I will give it a shot. But 15-20 is not all that much to look foward too. I get 2 hrs on my creeper with a 2s, but it is a much higher amp battery.

you need to understand that the losi is a differant truck then the axial or the venom the worm gears need alot of power to turn them & the high torque servos pull alot of amps so yes you need to run the bec & with the losi 15-20 min is good run time if you get anymore good job! Good luck when the truck if setup the way it's suppose to be it works great!!

Your LHS guys don't know anything then...If I asked my LHS the same question they would say BEC are for Planes and heli...Not cars...You need a BEC. I run a 1350 30c 3S, and can run 4 courses in a comp. |

I had the same problem with my 3s set up. the bec is a 3amp bec. Get a cc bec and you shouldn't have a problem. also what pinion are you running? You may consider putting a fan on your motor also? Heat can cause you problems also!

Not so., depending on what servo you are running. If you are running a high torque servo, and a digital dig servo(as most are), then you DO need a bec. BUY ONE and you will see the difference, period. And do yourself a favor and find a thread on how to hardwire the bec directly into the servo itself. You will appreciate this word of advice when it's alll said and done, trust me on this. | |
