yea, my problem is more of going INTO dig. Like if i'm climbing and about to tip over, so i want to dig and grab the top of a ledge, so i hit the dig and start to throttle and my dig doesn't engage for a inch or two.... just enough to tip me on my lid. :(

Is there anyway to tell from the part number or packaging if I'm getting new or old style springs and plates? I want a set but don't want to pay $6 shipping on a $5 item from Horizon. Phil's has them on eBay but I don't want to get the old style either.

I replaced my dig springs with a cut down Mini T rear firm spring. I would say that is pretty close to what Losi is selling in their updated version. I really really like the performance of the dig after changing to a stiffer spring. The plates engage with a "snap" now.....no more having to let off the throttle when shifting back into 4x4. I put the new springs in then I was having front dig issuses so I started a thread about it. I used epxoy on the dig forks so now because of that dig engages faster, and because of the new springs dig disengages faster The best of both. Here's the other thread Front Dig Not Engaging Last edited by mrG; 03-18-2011 at 11:23 PM. |
