grease? oil? or nothing?

In the lcc tranny there are a hand full of bearings and in my opinion quit a bit of friction on some of those parts so I tolk it all apart and let the bearing soak in all purpose oil cleaned them up and greased all the moving parts in the tranny just not the gears...... is any one greasing or oiling there tranny? Thank you ryno

a light coat of thin oil on the forks where the dig plates ride. and on the fork shafts. try and keep the dig plates themselves dry. and run the gears dry. will help keep crud from sticking to them and causing excessive wear. i know petes phoenix thread is long, but just about every aspect of these rigs has been covered in it, and then some. and it was all discussed in depth. theres extensive lubrication and maintenance info in there if ya take the time to work your way through it.

Yes, lightweight, thin oil like a 3 n 1 or bearing oil thin, on the forks where the dig plates ride is all you need.
