| Christmas Sweetness - Tekin Roc 412
Treated myself to an early Christmas present. Tekin Roc 412 2300kv motor on 2S w/ 18 tooth pinion. Coming from a Holmes Hobbies 45t motor w/ 20 tooth pinion. Definitely an awesome upgrade. A lot more wheel speed and more low end torque. Put two battery's through it doing some testing on my local rock garden and am very impressed. Definitely opens up many new lines. Looking forward to a friendly comp this Friday. |

How you like it? I'm about to order the same motor on a 3s. Curious how the huge rotor plays out.

How is it from 0 RPM to an slow crawl? I've read about some jumpiness and low RPM resolution issues. I'm running a MMP as well, but you can only dial out so much. Think you could get away with the 3100 to tame the torque down slightly? Thanks!

| Re: Christmas Sweetness - Tekin Roc 412 I had some jitters in the beginning. First I found out that the MMP needs to be set to "Sensored Only" mode, not "Smart Sense." This programming change eliminated 90% of the jitters. The rest was eliminated when I put the BEC back in. Seems like the motor draw was perhaps causing low voltage to the receiver. I not sure of that diagnosis. All I know is the BEC cured the problem.
