Personally, I would look to the Gen I. I don't think the improvements will benefit us crawlers and you can save some dough (stupid, I know, but I just don't like the white). I also feel that the RS is a little smoother than the MMP, and the slow speed is better. Especially with the 21.5 that I got with it, loved the 21.5, I just needed more wheel speed. I have not tried the Novak on the RS.

The reason I mentioned the MMP is for the room to go to 4s with out concern. And I think it is alittle more robust, awesome ESC. I run it in my pro shafty, without question. Love it.

Another thing that I did was put the Crawler Innovation FXR 4s capacitor on the RS, so I can run 4s. Still makes me nervous, but it is awesome. Don't run it often, but I do notice that the slow speed resolution feels better, of course the kick of more juice, the electronics run just as cool, and longer run times.
I'll buy a Gen 1 for sure, seems to be better
No MMP for me, I don't need the 4S feature Also the MMP is really big compared to the Gen1

you will love it.

Forgot to mention the size thing, you are so right. I was astonished at the difference.

I did have an MMP that I decased, sooo much smaller. I left the heat sink, but you could take that off also. I just couldn't muster the cajonas to try it.

Please keep us posted, I would love to hear your thoughts on the RS with the Novak.

Of course I keep posting
Today I did the first testrun with it. The vertical wall ability is awesome, sidehilling is impressive
I'll look forward to the Supercrawl and hoping on a good placement this year... Just need to train a bit with the new setups

So...I put it on the weight today. Final weight is 1690g (3,73 Ib) RTR, I think it will be perfect for my drivingstyle

May I need to add some weight in the front or the rear, but TIME WILL TELL

Regards
Jeffrey

Newest update:
I'm currently designing on a new front axle plate... The acryl one broke while the last testrun

But I'm really decreased with working and driving currently because of an injury on my foot

Best regards
Jeffrey

Hi,

today I did a new front axle plate out of 2mm Aluminium.
I screwed a piece of Acryl to it, on where I am able to mount the ESC.
It only weights 5g more than the full-Acryl plate, but it is way more tough

Here fixed on the axle:

Here a pic compready:

I'm really happy with the steering angle, wided axle and the 52/48 geometry
With the gearbox mod (just as JENS did) and the stock 20T Pinion I am able to do backflips and the torque is more than enough

Since today morning it snows all the time so I can't practise a bit with it...

Today I got some Carbon shafts for the rear.
MADE by Ed.el
Each is weighting 3g, a stock steel one weights 14g.
I am a testdriver for those shafts, to see how robust the are.

That's very interesting. But I personally don't think they'll hold, except I hope they do cause that could change a lot of things. So it has an aluminium thread on the end? And the rest is carbon? Confuses me a little.

Today I was out with my Losi again
Worked really good.
Since last, I modded the XRShafts, added a Baja and mounted soft DDs

I am really happy with it
Just need to add a bit knuckle weight, around 50g I think

@pajey: I haven't built them in yet cause I was on a basketball match yesterday. I hope they work, but I can't say it so far

Yesterday my brother and me were out again

Really happy with it
Until my Servohorn broke Ordered a new one today.

I also bought some CK KW fixers, hope they arrive the next days to make it a bit heavier (I don't like lightweight verhicles, my Losi weights currently 1700g)

Pics:

I also outboarded my shocks at the frontaxle and rearaxle, total difference.

Today I've installed my KWs with the CK fixers
Nice fitting, tested a bit and found out, that 60g is more than enough for me

More tests with KW in the rear will come soon

I also got my new Alumium servohorn today
Really happy with this crawler FOR NOW

Today another package.
Some M3 threads by Würth. Much stiffer now.
The threads in the plastic were broken
