Default LNC Driveshaft problem HELP!!!!

Hi guys, I recently picked up a LNC on trade. When I got it, it was in pieces. I about have it reassembled. The problem is that the driveshafts seem too short. I have tried and looked for everything I know to do. The side of the tranny where the longer drive cup is the driveshaft just barely starts in the cup. The shorter side misses by a half inch. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Ouch. Are you sure that the links are attached at the correct places both frame and axle side?

I'd lay some money that you have longer links to make the wheel base longer than stock. There is not much flexibility with length with the LNC shafts.

The LNC shafts are great, I currently run them in the front on my Sporty. I have to run the LCC shaft in the rear, when I took the wheel base to 12.5 (comp max) the LNC shaft in the rear did the same thing.

The thing that is throwing me is the 'longer drive cup.' Mine are all the same length. If I am understanding correctly.

Step 1, accurately measure the wheelbase. Comp allows 12.5", but stock Losi's are short so most people stretch the wheelbase with longer links. Most accurate way to measure it is to remove the wheels and tires, support the car with blocks under the axles and measure axle centerline to centerline.

But I suspect your problem is more complicated, because 1/2" short on the driveshaft length is extreme. If you're under 12.5", the problem must be the driveshafts. If way over 12.5" you have some weird links or a misassembly.
