Default New Setup

I broke down and replaced my brushed HH 27 turn with a new brushless setup. I got a 17.5 turn Tekin and a MMP, using a 14 tooth pinion. The wheelspeed is great but I am a little disappointed with the low speed crawling. Not near as smooth as my brushed setup. Is this to be expected? I never had a sensored brushless before and I thought it would be just as good. Actually getting some cogging at very low speeds and at low torque as well.

Do I need to do some tweaking on the esc to get better results?

On the MMP you need to make sure that your leads between the ESC and motor are; A goes to A, B goes to B, and C goes to C. Than program for sensored only. If that is how you have it wired up, you may want to take a good look at the sensor cable.

I run a 17.5 and 13.5 on both of my LNC with Tekin RS esc, and have good low speed control with no cogging.
