Default Axial bead lock screw troubles?

I just picked up a used set of Axial beadlocks 2.2 with Losi Rock Claws and wrap around wheel weights and plan on putting them on my SCX10 Rubicon, I searched and think that Pro-Line PRO-2 Front Clamping Hexes for a pede will take up the offset so they will work. I don't plan on trying with the weights first as this set up is 3 oz heavier than the stk set up, and I am not a scaler or comp, just fun for me and the kids.

All the screws have stripped heads and I think they are 2.5mm x 25mm?
I was thinking of trying 2.5mm socket heads but they stick out a little, would this cause hang ups? What screw should I use? Are these stock xr 10 wheels? I bought these from someone that bought a box of stuff from his lhs. I also thought about using 3mm flat heads, they stick out a mm or 2 but have deeper slot for hex keys.

Any help appreciated, I did search first but saw many different sizes talked about and am not sure exactly what wheels I have.

those look like a set of the wheels that come with the xr10. I bought a set of them from someones xr10 kit. all new screws and I ended up stripping the heads of about 2 per wheel. I'd be interested in finding a good replacement for them.

Not sure on the size screw. I'd take one to the local hardware store they usually have a gauge there to figure out sizes and then look for a button head in that size. I'd also take a wheel to try the screw in just to make sure the holes aren't stripped.

Have not found a hardware store that carries 2.5mm or 3mm. Lowes/Homedepot smallest is 4mm.

I bought stainless steel 4/40 1" counter sunk flat top allen head screws for my XR10 wheels. Worked great.
