Have you had a chance to run them yet and if so, how do they perform?

The front shows a 1.9 Race Claw on a 2.2 SLW rim. Been running these for quite some time and they work pretty good.

wider foams help to limit tire roll when stretched. I work at ClarkRubber (www.facebook.com/clarkrubbercoffs) so i get to play with different foams all the time. currently running a 2inch wide ring, 4.5inch o.d and 2inch i.d of a fairly firm foam (MA29-200) the width of the foam really helps to bulge out the sidewall. much chunkier.

1.9 trepador on 2.2 Renegade rims

The idea on that thread, it looks like, was to make the tire wide. In my case, I'd want to make the tire skinny and tall,Which would work just by stretching that tire over the 2.2 rim and maybe slimming up the foams. I may try this just to see how it works on my slws.
