Default 1.9 axial ripsaw vs vaterra race claw

Hi guys.
I am looking for a good 1.9 comp tires for dirt and mud for my scx10. I am thinking about ripsaws and race claw tires. Which one is a better choice regarding pattern and compound ?
Thanks.

I cant attest to the race claw tire but I can tell you that the Ripsaw R35 tire with a CI foam in it is about the best comp tire I have found so far!!! Only issue I had with Ripsaw tires is the sidewall folding over but when I stuck closed cell foams inside, problem solved!

I was not happy that they were only 4.3" tall and I wanted something just a TINY bit larger to get that little extra belly clearance so I went with the 4.5" Vaterra Super Swampers and they are EXACTLY what I was looking for! Great tire....they need a good break in before they REALLY start to perform, but straight out of the bag, they were rather nice tires.

I would recommend either the Ripsaw R35 with some closed cell foams or the Vaterra Super Swamper with closed cell foams as well.

I forgot something important. Tires dont be taller than 4.3", because i have short rig (wheelbase only 10"), so anything bigger than 4.3" makes hillclimbing difficult.
So someone have experience with race claw tires ?

Proline tsl-sx sounds like the tire for you. NOT the "XL" branded 1.9 though. That one is huge.

I've been running r35 ripsaws for years on my scx10 they have always been great tires. But I'll be buying some tsl xl's or pitbulls soon
