| Worst performing tire recommendations
What are the worst tires you have run? I'm looking for 1.9s in the 4.3-4.75" tall range. I currently have Axial BFG Krawlers and Axial Ripsaws but they are too good. I'm looking for something much worse than either of these. Thank You. Last edited by jeff22; 12-03-2015 at 03:33 PM. |

RC4WD INTERCO SUPER SWAMPER 2.2 TSL/BOGGER. The sidewall is tall and weak and the foams are too soft. This causes a very flimsy tire that folds over especially during turns.

Tamiya High Lift tires. Only slightly softer than the rocks but can serve as an acceptable hockey puck in case an impromptu game breaks out.

TAMIYA hi lift tires. rock hard and about 4.25 if i recall. for the all time worst tire. go with the Tamiya Hummer tire. 3.5" tall, rock hard, street treads. Last edited by STANG KILLA SS; 12-03-2015 at 09:21 AM. |

If you can go smaller, try any of Tamiya's tires - BFG's, or stock Rock Cruiser tires. They are just....awful tires. Will save you money on foams however!

Why are you looking for bad tires? ALL the tires out there are good or bad somewhere or somehow.

I forgot about the Tamiya tires that came with my CC-01. Yeah they're terrible!

| Re: Worst performing tire recommendations This description is spot on for the 4.6 Baja MTZ as well. Even mild hill climbs caused the tire to "wad-up" big time!

| Re: Worst performing tire recommendations Those hummer tires are just about perfect, they do look like they would perform terribly, if only I could get them in a taller size.

2.2's will work if they fit the 4.3-4.75" size criteria. Good stuff so far keep the bad advice coming.

You guys need to look into better foams. I have used both these tires with the CI foams and had them perform perfectly.

| Re: Worst performing tire recommendations Ok but the OP is asking about worst performing tires. Those are not 2 kinds of tires that perform badly. besides who uses stock foams? Pretty much all trash.

surprised no one has mentioned 1.9 Two Face tires from RC4WD. Literally all show and no go....drift slicks have more traction. That said I still have a set of em |
