Yes VP hubs will work. But you'll need 4-40 screws. The alien ones come with 3mm.

My vote is for SSD. I'm running rock beast 2's on a wraith and just got a set of the SSD rock racers. I love them they mounted up super easy and were $112 shipped.

Rather than start another thread I'll add to this one. I'm looking for wheels as well, right now my top two choices are the VP Method 105 or the Gear Head Rubicomp. I'm building my first crawler on a Wraith platform. (2.2). I'll be running R35 ripsaws for now. Gear Head RC 2.2 RubiComp Beadlock Wheels (4) Method 2.2 Race Wheel (1.2" Wide) 105 Orange/Black Anodized - Vanquish Products Can anyone offer so insight as to the advantage of one wheel over the other? Also where is this coupon code for the gear head wheels previously mentioned? Price is not as important as getting the right wheel the first time. |
