| What 2.2 beadlock wheels?
Hey guys, Got a set of pit bull rock beast 2's and are absolutely loving them. Using a friends spare set of beadlock wheels and looking for a good set and was wondering what you guys recommend? Would prefer aluminum but plastic will do. Thanks! Ty |

Depends on your budget and style preference. Kinda hard to go wrong with most choices out there.

My favorite aluminum beadlock wheels are Gear Head. Best looking wheel and easiest to mount in my experience. They are top of the line though so they're not cheap. What's your budget? |

Gear Head wheels are the best that I've used, but they definitely aren't cheap. SSD also does really nice wheels at really great prices that are worth a look.

Most I'll probably go on wheels is $150 at the most. Looking for the 12mm hex too.

If you want great wheels on a budget check out Boom Racing or Incision. Here are two of my Gear Head sets.

torn between motoworx wheels, boom racing wheels, and method wheels. Which one out of those do you guys think is the best?

Motoworx are the probably the best made out of the 3 but it takes about 10,000 screws to mount the tires. The external beadlock ring style of wheels like the Motoworx makes mounting any tire quite easy but not quick. The Method wheels (either Vanquish or Incision) are very well made also but only use 5-6 screws per wheel to assemble since they are a different design. Proline tires can be difficult to mount on these kind of wheels but it is quick to unmount and remount if the tire doesn't seat right.. I don't own any Boom Racing wheels so I can't comment on how they compare.

I'm about 1 month into running my Rock Beast 2s on SSD D hole wheels. Weren't too expensive and are performing well. I hope they're still doing well in a few months. |

Do the motoworx wheels have hub extenders or no?

I have 1.55 Motoworx and they're beautiful wheels. Boom makes awesome wheels that are easy to install.

| Re: What 2.2 beadlock wheels? If they are 1.4" that has changed. 1.2" is narrow - too narrow IMO. My 2.2 Incision wheels are 1.2" wide and it pulls the tire in too much for my liking. I guess it depends on if you like the sucked in look. Gear Head 2.2 wheels are around 1.4" or 1.5" wide. The look is much better to me.

probably going to go with the motoworx wheels. Would wheel weights be a good buy or shouldn't I even bother with them?

I went with ALIENTAC. Impressed by the quality. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/201695504235 D440 |
