Default Any idea on how to fix this...

Well I have these Titus pro-line wheels that have decided to round off the hex. I got them 2nd hand when I was more of a noob than I am now...so didn't think to check...ah well learn from our mistakes... Can I get separate bits...or is it worth whacking a hex in there and then melting it on? Or just get new wheels....

Your thoughts?

I used to run nitro stadium trucks with plastic wheels... glued up and thrashed a lot of 'em over the years, I would plan to replace them. You could also grab some old hexes that you don't care about and JB Weld them in but I wouldn't count on that lasting indefinitely. If you go that route, I would suggest using something like an old axle or similar to center the hexes as best you can while everything cures. I think that melting the plastic is going to cause potential distortion of the wheel and subsequent cracking of the material. If you can afford 'em, I'd just replace altogether and assuming that the tires have any life left, maybe try to salvage them ( de-bonding/ deactivating the CA). Probably better suggestions out there but just my .02 cents.

I'd just CA glue a hex in there and run it. If you want a fancier bandaid, you can drill a small hole the both the wheel and hex (edit: off center, running left-right when mounted to the car), then screw a set screw through both of them, then your hex is salvageable. Plastic beadlocks are CHEAP on everybody's favorite auction site.
