| Tuber Building help.
first let me say i have used the search botton many times!! so from what i infer i use 3/16 brake line. what else can i use besides that. for the tranny mount what size aluinum do i use where can i order this stuff online?? thanks for the help!!! |

Mapp gas for sure. Most people use 3/16 brake line as it is cheap and can be purchased at napa. You can also use 1/4 inch brakeline. You could technically use any steel tubing of those sizes. Check out onlinemetal.com they have a bunch. However, they are considerably more expensive than the brake line. I pay about 1 dollar per foot of brake line.

0.064" thick aluminum? That's what, about 1/16"? Wow, that's skinny! Guess anything thicker would be too hard to bend (assuming you're not using a brake).

~1/16" thick 6061 aluminum is plenty strong in most cases. Jay |
