Damn and I thought no one would respond?!

Thank you all for the input. I was really just thinking Craftsman or the like but after reading this I am going to get a set of Hobby Grade ones like Integy or Losi.

Thanks again, good to see the help as always!

Bump on this, lol.

What particular Integy set(s) would I need to suit an AX 10? Mine will be here in a few days and I am looking to have tools around then. I have thousands of allens and some hex's, but what should I need?

thanks guys.

any of the good brands are good, Trinity, hudy, losi, integy, dynomite, find the ones with replacable tips, dont skimp on cheap ones they use alot softer tool steel = rounded off screws, I own a set of losi's metric set, and integy sae, both are really good quality but the losi are a little better I think

If you are wondering specifically what sizes you need for your ax10, youll need a 1.5, 2 and 2.5 mm hex for the kit. forgot to write this in my first reply

This is the set I personally own and love... http://www.integy.com/cgi-bin/webc.c...=3587&p_catid=

Notice the cut on the tips how it tapers into the shank!! MUCH STRONGER than most, and I use mine a lot and have not busted one yet. I only wish Integy would make a ball drive set. This new set is really nice too since they work in damn near every powerdrive out there including the Hitachi which requires the lock grrove. http://www.integy.com/cgi-bin/webc.c...d=5438&p_catid=

I can say that the rolling around kind of sux, but I would rather one roll then break or not be comfortable. The progrip is larger and nicer, than most, and the tips are a good length. Check Ebay as Integy regularly offers them pretty reasonable, or a vendor here should have them also.

Oh yeah, here are the nut drivers too...Very strong and they too work great

I can't find 'em for sale anywhere but a buddy of mine just got a full set of these bad boys at the LHS:

http://www.rc411.com/pages/scopes.php?scope=38&page=2

SUPER nice. But spendy. No worse than Hudy wrenches, though. No stupid setscrew, adjustable length and the tips have a 1/4" hex so you can put 'em in a drill

Dynamite are the only set i've ever owned where the 1.5mm or 1/16th or .050" havent snapped.

My Losis are ok, just not a fan of the handles personally. Hudy, whats to say for the price I broke 3 1.5mm before giving up.

I forgot about these...The Bullit tools are way nice. You can telescope them in or out of the handle, they have both straight and ball heads available, and they can be removed from the handles and used with power drivers too...Only thing I have seen, was that they don't have the same groove in the base of the hex like the new Integy ones, so you will have to machine them yourself if you use the Hitachi LiIon driver...Very handy tools though.

I hate the Integy handles. I have the Losis now and love them. I do wish the shaft was about an inch longer though.

Which Integy handles? They have so many and there is one set I don't care for at all.

I have Associated hexs which have lasted years and on multiple cars. The only thing I don't like about them is the small aluminum handle. If you use them allot they can be hard on your hands. I recently bought Axial Hexs and broke the tip right off tightening my pinion on its 2nd use. I think the Axials being long are there weakness. They flex a little. But the handles are nicer on my hands. I like nice quality tools and are always on the look out for something better.

The same set of DURATRAX hexes has been good to me for the past 3 years.
